Peppol order response

A Peppol order response is the supplier's structured answer to a purchase order — accept, reject, or accept with changes per line (quantities, dates, substitutes). It closes the ordering loop so the buyer's system knows exactly what will be delivered.

The order response makes ordering transactional instead of hopeful: every order gets a machine-readable answer, and amended lines (partial quantities, new delivery dates, replacement items) flow straight back into the buyer’s purchasing system. Combined with the order and despatch advice it enables automated order-to-receipt matching.
