Reporting & CTC model
5-corner
The French reform uses accredited private platforms (Plateformes de Dématérialisation Partenaires, PDP) supervised by the DGFiP. Serving French domestic flows end-to-end requires PDP accreditation or a PDP partnership; cross-border and group scenarios commonly ride on Peppol interoperability.
Penalties
Fines per non-compliant invoice (capped per year) and penalties for missing e-reporting transmissions are defined in the reform; repeated failures escalate.

Frequently asked questions
Is Peppol mandatory in France?
No — the French mandate is built on accredited PDP platforms. Peppol is the interoperability layer many platforms use and the practical channel for cross-border invoices into and out of France.
What is a PDP?
A "Plateforme de Dématérialisation Partenaire" — a private platform accredited by the tax administration to exchange invoices and report transaction data. Companies must send and receive through a PDP.
I only occasionally invoice French customers — what should I do?
Connect to Peppol via a Service Provider with a PDP partnership; your invoices reach French recipients compliantly without you contracting a French platform yourself.
