Peppol by e-mail — the e-mail gateway

The lowest-friction path onto the network:

• Receiving: Peppol documents arrive in your inbox as a readable PDF with the original XML attached — bookable by any accountant.
• Sending: e-mail a UBL file (or a PDF where AI extraction is enabled) to your gateway address; it is validated and delivered over Peppol, with a delivery confirmation back by e-mail.

Limits: e-mail approval flows fit low volumes; above a few dozen documents a month the portal, CSV or API paths pay off. The gateway is also the standard fallback while an ERP connector is being set up.
