XRechnung

XRechnung is the German national profile (CIUS) of EN 16931, maintained by KoSIT. It is mandatory for invoices to German public bodies and widely used in B2B; it exists in UBL and CII syntax and travels over Peppol as well as national portals.

German specifics: the Leitweg-ID routes B2G invoices to the right authority (scheme 0204 on Peppol), the Buyer reference field is mandatory, and KoSIT publishes strict validation rules with two releases per year.
