Peppol catalogue
A Peppol catalogue is a structured product and price list a supplier sends to buyers over the network — items, identifiers (GTIN), prices, units and validity periods — so buyer systems order from current data instead of stale spreadsheets.
Catalogues are the least known but highly effective BIS document: instead of e-mailing Excel price lists, suppliers push updates (full or delta) that load directly into the buyer’s purchasing catalogue, with a catalogue response confirming acceptance. Standard in Nordic public procurement and spreading with e-procurement adoption.
