Frequently asked questions

Is e-invoicing mandatory for B2B in the Netherlands?

Not yet — B2B use is voluntary but widespread. B2G invoicing to central government requires it, and EU-level ViDA reporting arrives in 2030.

Which identifier should a Dutch company use on Peppol?

KVK number (scheme 0106) is the common choice for businesses; public bodies use OIN (0190). Your provider registers the right one automatically.
